About Ryan Patmore
Mr. Patmore is passionate about defending the rights of his clients. He represents individuals charged with criminal offences across Western Canada, including Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.
Being charged with a criminal offence is a life-changing event. It creates anxiety, uncertainty, and potentially devastating effects on individuals and their families. Mr. Patmore will take the time to present you with a realistic assessment of your case, and work tirelessly to provide you with the best possible defence.
Mr. Patmore is able to offer his clients a unique perspective as Defence Counsel through his years of experience working alongside members of the Judiciary, and from both sides of the adversarial system. He worked as a Judicial Clerk in the Criminal Division of the Provincial Court of Alberta and was subsequently selected to assist senior Crown Prosecutors in the Criminal Intake Unit of Manitoba Justice through all stages of high profile criminal cases in Provincial and Superior Courts.
Mr. Patmore’s career in Criminal Defence has included work with Legal Aid, where he committed himself to provide access to justice for hundreds of people charged with offences under the Criminal Code of Canada, and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He had managed minor to extremely complex criminal cases very early on in his career, and successfully defended his clients in Courts and Tribunals throughout the Prairies.
Most recently, Mr. Patmore has worked within a network of criminal defence lawyers across Western Canada a part of Oykhman Criminal Defence Law. This has enabled him to leverage his team’s collective knowledge, experience, and proven track record of success to the benefit of each and every one of his clients, and he will be sure to do the same for you.
